Title: Mirror, Mirror on the wall, Which person are you
Technique: Paper tape, Colour pencil, Fimo and Watercolour
Size: 21 x 29.5cm
Art gala

Are you really you? We can see that you really are you? You look glamorous and have an optimistic and positive personality, but in essence you are...? Gloomy? Timid? Or are you only just dry bones? Who knows that you have a dark side of your hart? When you feel sad, you might laugh and someone may say, "Why are you laughing? This is serious!" But when you cry, someone may say, "You are annoying, it's not that serious. Smile!" I believe we all have a mirror, for other people to see how beautiful we are. I also believe that we all have an own space on the other side of the mirror, that nobody knows about except for yourself.

Title: Masks
Technique: Colour pencil and Watercolour
Size: 21 x 29.5cm
Artist Statement

People have many different sides to their faces, also the animals have different too. Because we are trying to survive in this world, I have a lot of different types of masks over my real face. Tiger masks emphasises kingliness, the rabbit masks emphasises cuteness and kindness, the snake masks emphasises protection for myself, monkey masks emphasises naughtiness, the horse masks emphasises cheerfulness, the cow masks emphasises honesty, the dolphin masks emphasises smartness, the raccoon masks emphasises irritability and hawk masks emphasises focus. However today I don't really know which one of them is really me.

Title: Big insect
Technique: Oil on the canvas
Size: 61 x 92cm
Artist Statement

The "Big Insect" explores the concept of "natural and built". The main idea is, "How the Palaeozoic insect survives in the modern world".  This painting environment is a modern garden with a modern bridge and the big butterfly and dragonfly are flying. For the image, the Palaeozoic insect is bigger than modern insects.  But, it is the pipedream of this serious pollution modern world. The "Big Insect" is using lots of warm colours, the yellow flowers, the red bridge, green trees and leaves. However, the insects are painted with cold colour, bully butterfly and purple dragonfly. This painting using warm colours as the dominant colours and then add a few cold colour to highlights the insects.
