Introduction
Soccer is one of the sports events with a high incidence of trauma. Any position in the soccer team has an opportunity to be injured, the ankle, knee, and head have become the main common locations of injuries for young people aged 15 to 24. Therefore, understanding the problems related to these injuries and injury protection support is important for reducing the occurrence of soccer injuries. According to the survey results, ankle injuries were the most common ones, and it also has a high-risk reinjury in same place.
The goal of this design is to design an ankle protection product used by soccer players and protect them from injuring their ankles while playing soccer games. The ankle protection support products generally have two functions, one is to relieve pain and compression and reduce pain in the case of injury, and the other is to prevent injury. However, if the soccer player had no previous record of injury, basically they will not wear protection support products. In fact, it can be expected that more unexpected situations will occur during soccer games. That is the reason why soccer players should wear ankle protection products to provide support to avoid sprains. Consequently, to prevent soccer players with ankle injuries, this design will be combined with soccer equipment such as soccer shoes, socks, or shin guards to achieve the purpose that users must use when playing soccer
